Based on archival pieces, FOB Factory reinterprets the Baker Pants, also known as Fatigue Pants, originally worn by the GI of the US Army during the 1950s, specifically starting from 1952.

To offer a model close to the original, the Japanese label crafted these pants using a satin cotton fabric (Back-Sateen) in the famous Olive shade close to the traditional Olive Green OG-107 worn by the American military during the Vietnam War. This lightweight and fluid fabric was perfectly suited to the tropical climate. The color is achieved through "VAT Dye", a process referring to bucket or vat dyeing, originally used for indigo. This method allows for a more uniform result but also a stiffer and crisper texture, indicating a great potential for evolution and patina.

True to the original, historical details such as the two large front patch pockets, the two buttoned flap back pockets, and the waist adjustment tabs for easy sizing are retained.
