Founded in 2010 by An Jong Hyuk in South Korea, FrizmWORKS creates menswear drawing on military clothing, workwear, outdoor garments and classic Americana. Functional and vintage pieces provide the starting point for a contemporary wardrobe designed around comfort and everyday wearability.

The name FrizmWORKS combines the ideas of “Freeze” and “Prism”, reflecting the brand’s desire to bring the different colours of its influences together within a single universe. Rather than faithfully reproducing archival garments, FrizmWORKS retains their characteristic elements while reworking proportions, fabrics and details.

This approach is particularly evident in the brand’s jackets and parkas. Hunting jackets, military garments, outdoor clothing and uniforms are transformed into silhouettes that are often roomier, shorter and boxier. The Heritage Hunting Jacket, for example, combines details associated with traditional hunting jackets with influences from British military outerwear, updated through contemporary proportions and construction.

FrizmWORKS also develops its Original Garments® line around everyday wardrobe essentials. Oxford shirts, work shirts, trousers and knitwear are reinterpreted through relaxed silhouettes and a particular focus on fabric selection, with the brand working with both Korean materials and specific Japanese textiles depending on the collection.

The brand’s signature Balloon Pants perfectly illustrate this interest in proportion. Drawing partly on military fatigue trousers, they feature a very relaxed, rounded silhouette, a deliberately cropped length and a construction designed around comfort and freedom of movement.

Through its collections, FrizmWORKS offers a contemporary Korean interpretation of heritage menswear: familiar references from military clothing, workwear and Americana transformed through modern proportions, carefully selected fabrics and an approach that balances quality, originality and accessibility.
