Sugar&Co. is a young Japanese brand founded in 2020 by Shinya Takahashi, a denim enthusiast with extensive experience in the Japanese textile industry. After growing up immersed in Tokyo’s urban and vintage culture and spending several years working at FULLCOUNT, Shinya decided to create a brand that blends traditional Japanese craftsmanship with a contemporary vision of clothing, moving beyond the idea of denim alone.

The philosophy of Sugar&Co. is rooted in the belief that garments should evolve with their wearer—becoming more beautiful and more personal over time. This idea is encapsulated in the brand’s concept, “BECOME MORE DELICIOUS.”

From its modest beginnings, the brand has quickly gained recognition in Japan and is now beginning to expand internationally, driven by original designs, fabrics developed in collaboration with renowned Japanese workshops, and an honest, thoughtful approach to everyday clothing.
