Japan Blue Jeans is a division of the Japan Blue Co. Ltd group which includes Collect Ltd (founded in 1992), Rampuya & Co. (1996), Momotaro and Japan Blue.
As one of the first factories to revive the production of selvedge, the company initially started by selling its fabrics to luxury brands before deciding in 2006 to create its own brands: Momotaro and Japan Blue.
It was in 2010 that the Japan Blue line was launched to expand the offerings proposed by Momotaro. The idea is to innovate by developing new fabrics while Momotaro focuses more on purist and traditional manufacturing. Today, these two labels control the entire production chain, allowing for rigorous quality control and step-by-step monitoring until the final product.
