Founded in 1988 by Yoshiyuki Hayashi, Denime is an iconic Japanese brand that became known for its faithful reproduction of vintage American jeans, particularly those from the 1960s. Since its inception, the brand has been committed to accurately reproducing iconic denim models, while respecting traditional Japanese manufacturing methods.

In collaboration with Kurabo Industries, a pioneer in Japanese denim, Denime has succeeded in creating authentic selvedge fabrics, woven on traditional shuttle looms. This attention to detail and meticulous approach has enabled the brand to make a name for itself in the world of premium denim, offering durable and authentic jeans that are prized by connoisseurs.

Denime is also part of the prestigious "Osaka Five" group, which includes the 5 legends of Japanese denim: Evisu, Fullcount, Studio d'Artisan, and Warehouse.

Today, Denime operates under the direction of Warehouse & Co., further reinforcing their joint commitment towards authenticity and excellence in denim production.
