An iconic piece in their collection for many years, the Garage Jacket by FOB Factory has made its way to Flâneurs. Based on a jacket called the "Great War Model" from World War I, it retains the main features while being modified in detail. The traditional ease pleats, on either side of the button placket, are not sewn but riveted to increase durability and give the jacket a more robust appearance. The unique chest pocket is also riveted at its corners, as are the sleeve openings and the tabs of the back cinch. The steel buttons are adorned with laurel leaves, added during the war as a symbol of peace, protection, and victory.

This jacket is made from exclusively grown American Supima® cotton, known for its extra-long and stable fibers. The denim is woven at the renowned Nihon Menpu factory in Ibara, on a vintage RIKI-SHOKKI shuttle loom. Supima® cotton, a registered contraction of "superior" and "Pima," is known to be 40% more durable than "classic" cotton and absorbs indigo easily. The rope-dyeing process, repeated 8 times, gives the denim a deep and relatively uniform color that will fade slowly but surely. It is made from #6 warp and weft yarns for a final weight of 14.75oz, perfect for all-year-round wear.

As one might expect from a reproduction of a vintage model, the cut is "vintage," slightly short and roomy with a comfortable armhole and a cinch back that allows the fit to be adjusted as desired.
