The Raglan Crewneck Sweatshirt from Good On is made from American cotton, woven into a French Terry jersey of 9oz. Under the arms, Good On has used the same stretchy material as for the ribbed edges. This provides more freedom of movement while enhancing the durability of the product.

What sets Good On apart as a manufacturer is primarily its expertise in the dyeing techniques used to color its garments. The brand is particularly specialized in pigment dyeing ("pigment dye").

To put it simply, if you cut the garment in half, you will see that the core of the cotton has remained white. The coloring only occurs post-production, once the sweatshirt is made. With pigment dyeing, the dye does not penetrate the fabric deeply, it only colors the surface of the garment.

As this is not a uniform dyeing process, it gives the jersey a vintage look and an uneven color. Each piece thus slightly differs from one batch to another, and this particular patina will become more pronounced over time and with washing.
