To put it simply, if you cut the garment in half, you will see that the inside has remained white. Indeed, the core of the cotton remains intact with pigment dyeing. The coloration only occurs post-production; the t-shirt is already shaped when it is dyed, and the pigment only colors the surface of the garment instead of penetrating the fabric.

Since it's not a uniform dyeing process, this gives the jersey a vintage look and irregular color. Each piece slightly differs from batch to batch.
