The Camp backpack from Bleu De Chauffe, made from vegetable-tanned suede leather, pays tribute to the outdoor models of the 50s/60s, which is why it has a decidedly vintage design. It is a versatile, practical, and lightweight bag. With a capacity of 20 liters, the main compartment is accessible via a drawstring opening/closure, reminiscent of old climbing bags. It also features a front zip pocket to keep everyday essentials safe.
While over 90% of the world's leather production is done using chrome-tanned or heavy chemical agents, Bleu de Chauffe opts instead for the only alternative manufacturing process: vegetable tanning. This is a natural action that gives the leather better durability, a natural look and feel, and, as a bonus, a beautiful patina over the years. Note that the use of living materials can lead to slight irregularities in grain or hue, which enhances the uniqueness of each model.
