The Woody S backpack from Bleu de Chauffe is inspired by vintage climbing bags. Its design allows it to be carried on the back or by hand, making it very versatile. It is made from 100% cotton canvas, produced in France, waxed and stonewashed for an immediate aged look and complete waterproofness. This canvas was initially used for the restoration of the Jeep Willys MB, an all-terrain vehicle of the US army introduced in the 1940s.

Featuring a large main compartment that can accommodate a 15-inch laptop, supplemented with a removable zippered cotton pouch, dated and signed by the craftsman who made the bag, it also has 2 external patch pockets, one front and one back, ideal for quickly accessing your most useful accessories. A zippered pocket at the back, meanwhile, keeps your most precious belongings safe. All the leather trims and the shoulder strap are made from robust vegetable tanned leather that will naturally soften over time.

While over 90% of the world's leather production is done using chrome tanned or heavily chemical agents, Bleu de Chauffe opts for the only alternative manufacturing process: vegetable tanning. It's a natural action that gives the leather better durability, a natural look and feel, with a beautiful patina developing over the years. Note that the use of living materials can lead to slight irregularities in the grain or hue, which enhances the uniqueness of each model.
