In the 1960s, Levi's launched the "White Levi's" series called "5200 Californians", which included Bedford "pique" canvas trousers. This fabric, also known as "Thunder Cord" or "Bamboo Pique," was a unique and iconic fabric that was very successful upon its release, particularly among students on the East Coast of the United States.

With Lot 1096, Warehouse & Co. aimed to recreate this fabric while surpassing the original with a higher weaving density. To achieve this, the selvedge fabric was woven on mechanical looms, giving it more robustness while retaining the naturally stretchy properties of this type of fabric. Thanks to a sulfur dye, the soft and subtle ivory hue, combined with a characteristic slight sheen, will easily integrate into any summer outfits. The pants are delivered in their raw, unwashed state and will therefore shrink slightly on the first wash, also reducing the silky appearance of the Bedford.

Its construction follows that of jeans, with 2 front pockets and a riveted watch pocket, back pockets with the typical stitching of Warehouse & Co., and the sewn "Red Tab". The screen-printed jacron patch and tone-on-tone topstitching complete this reinterpretation of a vintage model, which will nonetheless find its place in more modern outfits.
