Weighing 18oz, this heavy denim, made from hand-picked Zimbabwean cotton, features a very dark indigo shade, combined with the famous Battle Stripes in sashiko, also dyed in indigo for consistency and discretion. An indigo dyed deer leather patch completes the chain stitched waistband, whose loops are doubled and reinforced for durability.

Other typical brand finishes are not missing: the pink selvedge edge runs along the leg and in peek-a-boo on the coin pocket, pink chain stitch on the inside of the legs as well as branded rivets and buttons. The pocket bags are also made of the brand's signature jacquard fabric, adorned with peaches recalling the folk tale from which Momotaro takes its name and inspiration.

The Natural Tapered fit at Momotaro is a comfortable cut, with a high waist and a deep, rear-biased fork for better support, thigh comfort followed by a slightly tapered fall without betraying a straighter leg opening than other brand models.
