The Left Hand Twill Selvedge is a classic model at Naked & Famous Denim. It has been a part of the brand since its inception and is carried over each season. It is also the bestseller for many years across all models.

This jean is made from a Japanese selvedge fabric weighing 13.75oz which, despite its medium thickness, has a very stiff feel. This is due to the weaving technique used during its production. The "Left Hand Twill" is a weaving style done in the opposite direction of the classic "right-hand" twill ("Right Hand Twill").

This results in a smoother and especially stiffer fabric texture. Once you wear the jeans, you will notice that the crease marks are much more pronounced than on a typical denim fabric. Over time and with wear, this allows for highly contrasted fades, especially if you space out washings as much as possible. The Left Hand weave also becomes softer after washing.

This makes it a mid-season jean, easy to wear all year round, which will develop a more distinct patina than other fabrics of the same thickness. It is a model that we have been offering for years, particularly to customers who want to invest in their first selvedge jeans.

The SuperGuy corresponds to the Strong Tapered fit at Naked & Famous Denim. It is a slim-fit jean, with a medium rise, fitted through the thighs and tapering from the knee down.
