The Lot 484 from Warehouse & Co. draws inspiration from vintage sweatshirts by the renowned American sportswear manufacturer Champion. Founded in Rochester in 1919, Champion began manufacturing sportswear and quickly became the official partner of several universities, helping to promote the "collegiate" style. In 1938, Champion introduced the "Reverse Weave" technique, which involves horizontal rather than vertical weaving to prevent shrinkage.

Meticulously reproducing the standards of the 1940s, Lot. 484 features thick, brushed jersey on the inside and a cut/sewn construction that eliminates shoulder seams. The collar is paired with side gussets that enhance freedom of movement, nodding to the manufacturing of sweatshirts from the 1960-70s, while the blue embroidered label is a reproduction of the early 1970s style.
