First woven in the 1920s, this wool blanket is one of the most popular patterns at Pendleton.

Chief Joseph led the Nez Perce tribe, native to northeastern Oregon, in the late 1800s. Widely admired for protecting his people and speaking the truth, he is honored by this design that symbolizes his bravery. The bold arrowheads represent courage, strength, and integrity of the chief.

Pendleton is one of those "factory brands" that we particularly appreciate at Flâneurs.

Founded in 1863, it is a family-owned company headquartered in Portland, Oregon.

For over 100 years, it has specialized in weaving wool blankets recognized worldwide. Six generations have succeeded each other to make this company a benchmark and an icon of American style.

Unlike most brands, Pendleton controls its entire production chain. It performs the countless steps in the manufacturing process of its products. Raw wool is processed and transformed into fabric; the fabric is then shaped to feed the collections of home linens or men's and women's ready-to-wear. This vertical manufacturing gives it the advantage of perfectly controlling every step of the production process, thereby maintaining a high level of quality and a particular attention to detail.
