Jackman is the brand of Tanabe Meriyasu, a Japanese manufacturing company based in Fukui, which draws inspiration from the legacy left by its founder: Mitsugu Tanabe.

The Back Nep Jacket is a bold and masterful revisit of classic blazer jackets. It features the main iconic details: a notched collar, cut down to a 2-button closure, 1 slightly diagonally mounted welt chest pocket, and 2 large side pockets, welted but with a concealable flap for a more minimalist silhouette.

The jacket's cut is fitted, while still allowing for ease of movement, and it has 2 seams on either side of the chest to accentuate its elegant appearance. Despite all these details, this jacket can easily be worn in a less formal, more conventional, or even casual outfit, particularly due to the fabric from which it is made.

It is indeed made from a beautiful Back Nep 100% organic cotton fabric. The cotton threads are woven as they are, without thread adjustment, to achieve a grainy, neppy texture, full of bumps and roughness. The fabric is then degreased to give it a drier and stiffer feel, thus providing great hold to this jacket.

Despite the evolving styles that lean towards mismatched looks, it is entirely possible to pair this jacket with the Back Nep Trousers for an outfit that is elegant, understated yet not strict. A true demonstration of Jackman's DNA.
