When it comes to referencing an iconic piece of denim history, it's impossible not to mention the jean jacket. Type I. Created by Levi's In 1905, this version significantly changed the perception of denim clothing, which was initially reserved for miners and workers, and allowed the denim jacket to become a part of everyday attire.

Often revisited and reinterpreted, few emerge as faithfully as the 2001XX from home Warehouse & Co., considered one of the best current reproductions, inspired by the version released in the 1940s.

This model adopts the codes of the Type I traditional: the single chest pocket, the ease pleats surrounding the buttonhole, the original boxy cut paired with the back martingale, allowing the jacket to be cinched at the wearer's convenience.

Designed from a blend of cottons from 3 different American states (Arizona, Tennessee, and Texas), the denim used, developed by Warehouse & Co., presents a fabric that is both fluffy and rough, with a slightly neppy texture associated with an irregular weave. The construction meticulously respects the techniques of the era, featuring 100% cotton seams, coppered steel rivets designed to naturally oxidize over time, finishes sewn with chain stitching, and the selvedge edging running along the button placket.

Delivered in One Wash, no shrinkage is expected. This model is true to size, you can take your usual size.
