The Universal Works cardigan is one of the signature pieces from the English brand. It’s a warm, functional wool-blend knit with a raised neckline, two large patch pockets, and two chest pockets—one inside and one outside. The cut is straight and slightly fitted while remaining comfortable, making it perfect to wear under a coat or a rain jacket.
Offered every year, it comes in several colors, including this "Fawn"—a warm beige with golden hues, reminiscent of the coat of certain animals. Soft, natural, and highly versatile, it pairs easily with neutral tones (off-white, light gray, or taupe) for a minimalist, calming look. It can also be elevated by deep and rich colors (forest green, navy, or burgundy) that contrast without overpowering it. For a brighter, more summery palette, Fawn also works well with terracotta, ochre, or even a soft sky blue.
