For the SS24 season, Japan Blue reimagines its Wide Tapered indigo denim by introducing a new faded tint, akin to a bleached jean. Its color, however, leans more towards a blue/gray, contrasting with the usual sky blue of bleached fabrics. The wash is also perfectly uniform, without any wear effect, to highlight the details of the cut more. This will gradually patina over time with wear and washes, offering a great alternative to dark indigo jeans. With this cut, Japan Blue has focused on volume by offering a high waist, great thigh comfort, and a narrower leg opening. The traditional 5-pocket setup is paired with a pleat on either side of the waist, enhancing its oval shape while providing more ease of movement. It is made in Japan, specifically in Kojima, from a non-selvedge 13oz denim woven from soft and durable organic cotton. Like all Japan Blue jeans, it features a zip fly. With its voluminous fit and light fabric density, this jean is ideal for the summer period.
