The Japanese label Fob Factory offers us a pair of lightweight 11 oz selvedge denim pants ideal for the summer season. These are inspired by the USN Deck pants worn by the American military during World War II. The fabric, both fluffy and textured, is made using old shuttle looms giving it a unique irregular appearance. The warp yarn, dyed in indigo, achieves subtle shades of blue.

Details reminiscent of the original model include the button fly composed of copper buttons and the contrasting ecru stitching. There are two patch pockets on the back of the pants. On each of them, there is a simple horizontal brown stitching.

Compared to the original, the F0511 is cut in a more modern and dynamic silhouette. Thus, it features a fit described as "Loose Tapered", meaning roomy at the thighs with a slight taper from the knee down to the hem.
