The brand is celebrating their 45th anniversary by offering a series dedicated to the craftsmanship of Japanese factories in the production stages of quality denim.

Made with a 13oz weight, the Ishikawadai denim is crafted from cotton spun on the Japanese machine of the same name, Ishikawadai, the oldest of its kind, dating back to 1953. Unlike modern machines, the Ishikawadai spins cotton at a much slower speed (about 30%), which produces less stressed cotton fibers and gives the final fabric a natural look, similar to hand-spun yarn, with subtle variations in thickness and a slightly granular texture.

The entire manufacturing process is intentionally "low-tech" to recreate the look of typical 1950s denim. In addition to specific techniques, this denim's production relies on American cotton from the border region between Texas and Mexico, specifically the lower Rio Grande Valley. The climatic conditions of this region allow for the cultivation of long-staple cotton of superior quality, perfectly meeting the criteria required in the production of exceptional denim.

The cut of the SP-086 is a modern Tapered. It features a high waist, a generally straight leg that tapers slightly from the knee to the hem. This versatile cut has all the features to easily adapt to a wide range of body types.
