The Road Shirt is the most recurring short-sleeve summer shirt at Universal Works. For many years, its design has remained unchanged, only the fabrics used in its making evolve, season after season.
For SS24, the Road Shirt is offered in an indigo-dyed seersucker fabric. Seersucker is a puckered fabric, created by applying different tensions on the loom. This material is primarily used for making garments that promote heat loss and air circulation. This choice is thus fully justified for facing the hot days of summer.
The comfortable straight fit of the Road Shirt comes with a straight hem and a chest pocket. Unlike traditional "button down" collars, it features a Cuban collar, which can be worn open or closed as desired.
