Now a staple in our summer collections for the past 3 years, here is the new edition of one of our most cherished and anticipated collaborations: Kardo x Flâneurs.

Featuring an unchanged design, this straight and comfortable fit shirt has been slightly lengthened compared to models offered by Kardo to adapt more easily to all body shapes and to be worn easily inside or outside of pants. The open collar brings a touch of authenticity while the chest pocket draws inspiration from a more workwear aesthetic.

The name of each artisan involved in making the shirt is listed on the label, highlighting the human scale of this unique manufacturer.

What is Block Print?

The fabric used for this model is a uniform base, with resistant dye, onto which patterns are pressed using the Block Print technique. This artisanal technique involves hand-carving patterns into wooden blocks that are then dipped in natural dyes before being stamped onto the fabric. Each block creates a unique pattern and a variable result from one shirt to another. It is a lengthy process that often requires multiple blocks for a single pattern, thus demanding patience and precision in the overlaying of prints.
