Each piece pays tribute to artisanal craftsmanship: the name of each person involved in its making is proudly displayed on the label, a testament to a human-sized and deeply committed production.

What is Ikat weaving?

Ikat is a traditional weaving technique originating from Asia, notably Indonesia, China, and other Asian regions, involving dyeing the threads before weaving to create patterns. These patterns emerge during weaving through the precise arrangement of colored threads. Ikat is a complex process that requires several steps, including pattern and color selection, spinning, tying and dyeing to reserve areas for the pattern, and finally the weaving. Ikat pieces are unique and can be used for various types of garments, including shirts.
