Becoming a staple element of our summer collections for now 3 years, here is the new edition of one of our most appreciated and anticipated collaborations: Kardo x Flâneurs.

With an unchanged design, this straight and comfortable fit shirt has been slightly lengthened compared to the models offered by Kardo, to more easily fit all body types and to be worn effortlessly both tucked and untucked. The open collar adds a touch of authenticity while the chest pocket draws inspiration from a more workwear environment.

The name of each artisan who participated in the making of the shirt is inscribed on the label, highlighting the human scale of this unique manufacturer.

What is Block Print?

The fabric used for this model is a uniform base, with resistant dye, on which patterns were pressed using the Block Print technique. This artisanal technique involves hand-carving patterns on wooden stamps which are then dipped in natural dyes before being stamped onto the fabric. Each stamp thus creates a unique pattern and a variable result from one shirt to another. It is a lengthy process that often requires several stamps for a single pattern, thus demanding patience and precision in the overlaying of prints.
