Portuguese Flannel values quality over quantity. The brand uses exclusive fabrics that are traditionally made and produced in certified Portuguese textile companies. All pieces are then crafted in the north of Portugal. The collections are also made from natural materials such as cotton, linen, or wool. The same goes for the buttons, which are made of corozo or mother-of-pearl. Portugal and the family history of the two brothers who founded Portuguese Flannel play a significant role in the creation of the collections. Coming from a family that has been producing textiles for four generations, Manuel and António aim to change the way the world sees their country, as a place of value and authenticity.

Here, we find a classic shirt, featuring an American collar and a chest pocket. It is made in a Brushed Oxford, a brushed Oxford fabric which gives texture to the material and makes it feel like a "light flannel". The particularity of the Oxford shirts' weave is having dyed warp threads and white weft threads. The result is a twill weave (a pattern of thread interlacing) that offers a softer, less saturated hue. The brushed effect also results in a less pronounced color than a classic Oxford.

This shirt is crafted in a beautiful Salma shade (a color leaning towards a light caramel).
