The Simple Short from Universal Works is, as its name suggests, a pair of shorts with a clean and simple finish. It features an elasticated waistband with a drawstring, accompanied by two Italian-style side pockets and two back patch pockets. The design is inspired by beach shorts, with a length that stops above the knee and a roomy thigh area.


It is made from one of the brand's hallmark fabrics: the Indigo Herringbone. This 100% cotton fabric, woven in a herringbone pattern, is dyed in indigo, allowing it to develop a beautiful patina over time that highlights the Herringbone weave. This washed version features a lighter and brighter shade than its raw version, simulating a model that has been worn and washed numerous times.
