Jackman is the brand of Tanabe Meriyasu, a Japanese factory based in Fukui, drawing inspiration from the legacy of its founder: Mitsugu Tanabe.

The Dotsume T-Shirts (meaning "high density") from Jackman are a perfect example of Japanese craftsmanship. The 100% cotton fabric is made on the same vintage machines used at the factory's opening. The weaving process is slow but gives the pieces an irregular appearance and superior durability.

The result is a very thick T-shirt, almost like a sweatshirt. This considerable thickness enhances the clean and straight fall of its boxy cut. Thanks to its construction and texture, this model will maintain its shape over time, year after year, wash after wash.

The neckline is slightly wider than a classic T-shirt, the shoulder is dropped, and the cuffs, tightened by a dense ribbed edge, give the sleeve a volume inspired by baseball uniforms.

Unlike the short-sleeve models, this model fits true to size. You can go with your usual size.
