Dubble Works was established over 10 years ago by the Japanese label Warehouse & Co. and is now under the management of Sankei Meriyasu. Historically, it is a knitwear company founded in 1926, known for producing very high-quality sweatshirts and t-shirts. Indeed, to create their cotton jerseys, they mainly use old circular weaving machines from the 1920s known as "loopwheelers".

The genesis of this Cut Off Sleeve Sweatshirt offered by Dubbleworks comes from a long search for a fully summer-appropriate short sleeve sweatshirt. To create this piece, the label used a special technique called "3-Tobi" which involves skipping three stitches during the knitting process. With this unique technique, the fabric offers a looser knit stitch, providing a feeling of lightness, softness, and fluffiness.

The boxy, loose, and comfortable fit is paired with a ribbed collar and cuffs, which are soft and durable. Another detail typically found on vintage t-shirts and sweatshirts are the "cut off" raglan sleeves, which are raw-cut and reinforced with a simple seam to prevent fraying.

The Heather Grey shade, typical of vintage collegiate sweatshirts or those worn by the military, is achieved by mixing yarn of varying colors to obtain this distinctive mottled look.
