The Lot 4601 from Warehouse & Co. is the quintessential basic t-shirt. Designed in a 100% cotton jersey, woven at low tension from yarns with pronounced irregularities, it features a classic, short, and boxy silhouette. The reinforced collar opening and overlock stitching ensure increased durability and finish quality.

The high standards of Warehouse & Co. led them to seek out the best machines capable of producing these decidedly vintage-look t-shirts. They chose a loom from the 1960s, initially used to produce ribbed underwear with thick yarns. This machine allows them to preserve the natural irregularity of the cotton threads and combine a unique texture with undeniable durability. "Loopwheeler" machines weave cotton with very low thread tension, thus producing a unique and superior quality fabric for an incredibly comfortable final product. There are only about 400 such machines left in Wakayama, Japan, and only half are commonly used. These machines were the norm between the 1920s and 1960s until such manufacturing methods, deemed too slow and costly, gave way to efficiency and reduced production costs.
