Dubble Works was established over 10 years ago by the Japanese label Warehouse & Co. and is now under the direction of Sankei Meriyasu. Historically, it is a knitwear company founded in 1926, renowned for manufacturing very high-quality sweatshirts and t-shirts. Indeed, to make their cotton jerseys, they primarily use old circular loom machines from the 1920s known as "loopwheelers".

The genesis of this Cut Off Sleeve Sweatshirt offered by Dubbleworks comes from extensive research into a fully summery short-sleeved sweatshirt. To create this piece, the label used a special technique called "3-Tobi", which involves skipping three stitches during the knitting process. With this unique technique, the fabric provides a looser knit stitch, thus offering a feeling of lightness, softness, and fluffiness.

The boxy fit, spacious and comfortable, is paired with a collar and ribbed edges that are flexible and durable. Another detail commonly found on vintage t-shirts, the raglan sleeves are described as "cut off", roughly cut and reinforced with a simple seam to prevent fraying.

The Sumikuro shade is achieved through pigment dyeing, applied after the garment is made, which gives the fabric a washed-out look and an irregular color that will enhance over time and with washes.
