For this SS25 season, the Japanese label FOB Factory draws inspiration from iconic workwear clothing. Having made a strong comeback in recent years, the Painter Pant is a work pant originally designed for painters and craftsmen. It is characterized by its loose fit, multiple pockets, and a side loop for hanging tools such as a hammer or a brush. Its durability is also evident in its typical workwear construction, featuring triple chainstitch seams for enhanced strength.

The fabric used in its design features a herringbone (Herringbone) weave from naturally ecru, undyed, and untreated cotton, allowing it to retain all its natural roughness. The ecru shade also echoes the vintage painter pants. Practically speaking, painters often worked with white paint, which shows up much more prominently on colored garments than on white ones. Since it reflects sunlight, white also helped them stay cool on very hot days.
