The Lavette Throw by Slowdown Studio features the artwork of Venetian artist Nicoletta Aveni, one of the 12 artists who won the Slowdown Art Competition in 2021. You can explore her world on her Instagram account here.

It is made up of 75% cotton and 25% recycled cotton. The cotton used is grown, spun, and woven in the USA before being used by Slowdown in the making of their blankets. Thick and durable, it can be used to cover a sofa or armchair, for picnicking, or simply hung on a wall as a piece of art.

Each blanket is unique and highlights the work of emerging young artists as well as more experienced ones.

It is machine washable, cold, with gentle spin and soft or outdoor drying.
