Momotaro is a popular hero from Japanese folklore, often referred to as "Peach Boy". His story is widely recognized in Japan and is celebrated as a symbol of bravery and heroism. According to the legend, Momotaro came to Earth inside a giant peach, which was found floating down a river by an old, childless woman who was washing clothes there. Along the way, Momotaro met and befriended several animals including a dog, a monkey, and a pheasant, who agreed to help him in his quest. In return, he shared his kibidango with them. Together, they managed to defeat the oni, secure their treasure, and bring peace to the region.
