Designed for the summer season, the 0605-IVO jeans from Momotaro are crafted from a 13 oz ivory selvedge denim. Thanks to the oxidation dyeing process, this denim will retain its ivory hue and resist fading over time. It is a lighter version of the fabric from the iconic "Vintage Label" of the Japanese brand, using the same Zimbabwe cotton, but slightly lighter in weight.
Unlike the indigo denims by Momotaro, this one does not feature the pink stitching, but rather a subtle ecru stitching that blends perfectly with the ivory fabric. It features fine details such as the red selvedge ID, a vegetable-tanned leather patch, hidden copper rivets to reinforce the back pockets, and reinforced belt loops.
The 0605 "Natural Tapered" from Momotaro offers a comfortable fit, with a high waist, a deep and tilted yoke at the back for better support. It provides comfort around the thighs with a slightly tapered fall, while maintaining a straighter leg opening than other models from the brand.
