The Smock Overshirt by Universal Works is back for the new SS25 season. This minimalist overshirt is inspired by the authentic artist's smock, a pullover style with two large patch pockets originally designed to keep tools handy. Its simple 1-button collar, a blend of a polo neck and a shirt collar, also echoes the smock from the maritime field.

Its straight and loose fit ensures great comfort, allowing for good movement even when layered over another garment. The straight and clear hem stands out with a length difference between the front and back to break the square look of the cut and add more dynamics.

It is made from one of the brand's flagship fabrics: the Indigo Herringbone Denim. This 100% cotton fabric, woven in a herringbone pattern and dyed in indigo, offers a beautiful patina over time, highlighting the Herringbone weave.
