Mixing skillfully workwear and streetwear styles, Beams Plus offers us the 2 Pleats Shorts, the short version of one of the most iconic and popular pants in its range. It is made of thick cotton twill using high-twist yarns with a smooth surface and dry touch, achieved by burning the surface fuzz off the yarn with a flame. The final touch is a Nidom process in which the fabric is hammered and kneaded to create a typical vintage texture.
The two Italian front pockets are accompanied by a small buttoned flap ticket pocket, as well as two double pleats that provide extra room in the thighs. At the back, the two welt pockets, one of which is buttoned, add a touch of elegance typical of traditional trousers.
The overall shape, with its pronounced oval accentuated by the 2 pleats, gives an oversize effect without the need to size up the shorts. They can be worn high on the waist, in a more sartorial manner, or on the hips for a bold streetwear style.
