Jackman is the brand of Tanabe Meriyasu, a Japanese manufacturer based in Fukui, drawing inspiration from the legacy left by its founder: Mitsugu Tanabe.

Dotsume T-Shirts (meaning "high density") from Jackman are a perfect example of Japanese craftsmanship. The 100% cotton fabric is made on the same vintage machines used when the factory opened. The weaving process is slow but gives the pieces an irregular appearance and superior strength.

The result is a very thick t-shirt, almost like a sweatshirt. This considerable thickness enhances the clean and straight fall of its boxy cut. Thanks to its assembly and texture, this model will maintain its shape over time, year after year, wash after wash.

The neckline is slightly wider than a standard t-shirt, and the cuffs, tightened by dense ribbing, give the sleeve a volume inspired by baseball uniforms.

Unlike the short-sleeved models, this model is true to size. You can go with your usual size.
