Jackman is a brand of Tanabe Meriyasu, a Japanese manufacturing company based in Fukui, which draws its inspiration from the legacy of its founder, Mitsugu Tanabe.
The t-shirts from Jackman are a perfect example of Japanese craftsmanship. The 100% cotton fabric is made on the same vintage machines used at the opening of the manufacturing plant. The weaving process is slow but gives the pieces an irregular appearance and superior durability. This short-sleeved t-shirt is made from American cotton. Its slightly rough texture is achieved through a special spinning technique, where cotton fibers are transformed into yarn by centrifugal force. Once made, the fabric is washed to achieve a more matte look and enhance its vintage aspect.
It is a basic and sleek model, without betraying the quality of its manufacture. The neckline is reinforced with a soft finish, inspired by vintage sports jerseys. Its fit is boxy, straight and comfortable.
