Jackman is the brand of Tanabe Meriyasu, a Japanese manufacturer based in Fukui, drawing inspiration from the legacy of its founder: Mitsugu Tanabe.

The t-shirts from Jackman are a perfect example of Japanese craftsmanship. The fabric is made on the same vintage machines used since the factory's opening. The weaving process is slow but gives the pieces an irregular appearance and superior durability.

This long-sleeved henley is made from American cotton. Its slightly rough texture is achieved through a unique spinning technique, where cotton fibers are transformed into yarn by centrifugal force. Once made, the fabric is washed to achieve a more matte appearance and enhance its vintage look.

This Fade Sax version has undergone a pigment dye process before pre-washing. This method only dyes the surface of the fabric, leaving the core of the cotton white, which allows the color to age over time with wear and washing. The neckline features a beige lacquered metal button with a vintage look. Its cut is boxy: straight, comfortable, and somewhat short.
