Jackman is the brand of Tanabe Meriyasu, a Japanese manufacturing company based in Fukui, which draws inspiration from the heritage left by its founder: Mitsugu Tanabe.

The T-shirts from Jackman are a perfect example of Japanese craftsmanship. The 100% cotton fabric is made on the same vintage machines used at the opening of the manufacturing plant. The weaving process is slow but gives the pieces an irregular appearance and superior durability.

This long-sleeved T-shirt is made from American cotton. Its slightly rough texture is achieved through a unique spinning technique, where the cotton fibers are transformed into yarn by centrifugal force. Once manufactured, the fabric is washed to achieve a more matte appearance and enhance its vintage look.

This Fade Blue version has received a pigment dye before pre-washing. This process only dyes the surface of the fabric, leaving the core of the cotton white, which allows the color to age gracefully with wear and washing. It is a basic and clean model, without compromising the quality of its manufacture. The neckline and sleeve openings are reinforced with a soft finish, inspired by vintage sport jerseys. Its cut is boxy, straight and comfortable.
