While over 90% of the world's leather production is done using chrome-tanned or heavily chemical-processed leathers, Bleu de Chauffe, on the contrary, opts for the only alternative manufacturing process: vegetable tanning. This is a natural action that gives the leather better durability, a natural look and feel, and, additionally, a beautiful patina over the years. It is worth noting that the use of living materials may cause slight irregularities in the grain or color, which enhances the uniqueness of each model.
