The Fisherman by Manifattura Ceccarelli is a true icon of the Italian manufacturer. It is a hooded parka featuring four large buttoned flap pockets on the outside and two buttoned patch pockets inside. It has a fitted cut while maintaining enough ease to be very comfortable, especially thanks to its raglan sleeve construction. The Fisherman also features two large hermetically sealed zipped pockets at the back, one of which is a through pocket.

This coat is entirely made in Italy from a highly durable double-twisted poplin 100% cotton fabric. The material is made water-repellent through a treatment involving immersion in melted paraffin baths. This is the fabric Manifattura Ceccarelli has been using for many years to make its winter garments, making them waterproof, comfortable, and particularly suitable for both countryside and city use. Additionally, it is a material that will develop a beautiful patina over time.

The 100% cotton inner lining encases one of the best fillings offered by Manifattura Ceccarelli: wool fiber. Ultra-light and thermoregulating, wool has always been one of the best natural insulators. It does not deteriorate over time and retains its water-repellent properties. It also has the ability to transport sweat away from the body without absorbing it.

The sleeve linings, on the other hand, are made of Bemberg Cupro, a 100% biodegradable natural fiber. It is a very fine material, similar to silk. It has a smooth surface that does not irritate the skin. It is also a very breathable fabric because it quickly absorbs moisture and then releases it through invisible pores. It thus generates warmth, especially when combined with another insulating fiber like down.
