Description

The Mountain Jacket from Manifattura Ceccarelli is a short hooded parka designed to provide effective protection against the elements while maintaining a clean and functional silhouette. Inspired by traditional outdoor garments, it combines a robust construction, natural materials and Italian artisanal craftsmanship.

Entirely made in Italy, this jacket is crafted from Manifattura Ceccarelli's signature waxed cotton, a fabric developed over many years for the brand's winter collections. This double-twisted cotton poplin stands out for its excellent resistance to wear and abrasion. Its wax treatment provides water-repellent properties while allowing the garment to develop a unique patina over time. A material particularly suited to outdoor environments, both in the countryside and in the city.

This version features a warm wool and polyester blend lining, also used inside the hood, providing comfort and insulation during colder periods. The virgin wool filling offers excellent natural properties: lightweight, breathable and thermoregulating, it effectively retains heat while allowing moisture to escape.

The sleeves are lined with Bemberg Cupro, a natural biodegradable fibre with a silk-like touch. Its smooth surface makes the jacket easy to put on while providing a pleasant feel against the skin. Breathable and efficient at managing moisture, this fabric perfectly complements the jacket's natural insulation. The elasticated cuffs also help prevent heat loss.

Its functional construction includes the details that define Manifattura Ceccarelli's approach: raglan sleeves for greater freedom of movement, an adjustable waist thanks to internal drawcords, a protective hood, a secure double-slider YKK zip and snap button closure, as well as vegetable-tanned leather finishes. Fit

The Mountain Jacket features a comfortable, slightly relaxed fit, allowing enough room to wear several layers underneath. Its raglan sleeves provide excellent freedom of movement, while the slightly longer rear cut offers additional protection against wind and water splashes.
