Astorflex is an Italian brand that creates shoes in a traditional manner, focusing on local craftsmanship and eco-friendly manufacturing.
The Rondiflex is a round-toe brogue derby, handcrafted in Italy from Tuscan suede. It features numerous perforated leather inserts forming the traditional "W" pattern, as well as a 5-eyelet lacing providing a timeless style and ease of pairing with a variety of outfits.
Astorflex produces its shoes with a responsible and sustainable approach. The lining and insoles are made of calf leather with vegetable tanning. The leather is soaked in a mixture of water and powdered oak bark and mimosa, without using molds or colored finishes. This process makes the leather healthier, hypoallergenic, and ensures greater sweat absorption to keep feet dry and odorless.
The soles are made of natural rubber, consisting of coagulated latex from the rubber tree (hevea brasiliensis). The different parts of the shoes are assembled using water-based adhesives.
