Founded in Japan in 1992, Glen Clyde is a manufacturer specializing in high-end socks. In 2009, the company created CHUP socks and began offering colorful collections inspired by patterns from around the world, such as Fair Isle Scottish patterns and Navajo Native American designs.

This winter, a new addition has slipped into our colorful and graphic selection of CHUP socks: the "Life Long" range of plain socks.

As presented by Glen Clyde, the "Life Long" socks could well be "the last socks you'll ever buy." They are knitted from a technical and highly durable material from Invista, Cordura®, which is 7 times more resistant than normal yarn and offers durability 6 to 10 times greater than that of ordinary cotton socks (scientifically tested and verified).

These socks contain Cordura® yarn from the top to the bottom of the foot, not just at the heel, toes, and sole, which is considered the minimum for the socks to use the Cordura® name. Subjected to an abrasion wear test, the socks must at least withstand 500 cycles to guarantee a sufficient level of quality and resistance. The "Life Long" socks from CHUP, thanks to their high quality in both design and composition, pass the abrasion test more than 30,000 times.
