Jackman is the brand of Tanabe Meriyasu, a Japanese manufacturing company based in Fukui, drawing inspiration from the legacy left by its founder: Mitsugu Tanabe.

The GG Sweat is THE iconic model from Jackman. The "GG" name refers to the unique grain of the fleece, achieved through the use of different thread thicknesses, and characterized by an external roughness that contrasts with the softness inside. The 100% cotton fabric is made on the same vintage machines used at the factory's opening. The weaving process is slow but gives the pieces an irregular appearance and superior durability.

The result is a heavy and dense sweatshirt, with a unique texture, that retains its shape and fit even after many wears and washes. It is a very high-quality piece that will delight lovers of good basics offering comfort and longevity.

The Full-Zip Parka version features a Universal double slider zipper, a hood made from a single piece for better hold, even when folded down, with a long drawstring, and 2 side pockets lined and reinforced.

Beneath its minimalist appearance lie details that reveal very careful manufacturing: the seams are double-stitched to ensure durability, the ribbed edges and cuffs are soft and comfortable yet rigid enough to hold their shape, and the assembly has been designed to ensure ease of movement despite the weight of the fabric, especially for the shoulder seam placed at the back. The sweatshirt has also been pre-washed to soften the fleece and set the size.
