The Lot 484 from Warehouse & Co. is inspired by vintage sweatshirts from the renowned American sportswear manufacturer Champion. Founded in Rochester in 1919, Champion began making sportswear and quickly became the official partner of several universities, which helped to promote the "collegiate" style. In 1938, Champion created the "Reverse Weave" technique, involving horizontal rather than vertical weaving to prevent shrinking.

Reproducing meticulously the standards of the 1940s, Lot. 487 features a thick jersey, brushed on the inside, and a cut-and-sew construction that eliminates shoulder seams. The collar is paired with side gussets that enhance freedom of movement, a nod to the manufacturing of sweatshirts from the 1960s-70s, while the blue embroidered label is a reproduction from the early 1970s style.
