Behind Dubble Works is one of the Japanese labels from the Osaka 5: Warehouse & Co. For decades, Dubble Works has been known for crafting sweatshirts and t-shirts. They use vintage circular knitting machines from the 1920s, known as "loopwheel machines," to make their cotton jersey. During the knitting process, the yarn used is almost free from any tension. It's also worth noting that only one or two yarns can be used in the knitting, making the process slower, but the result is much softer and fluffier. Finally, unlike more modern machines, once finished, the t-shirt falls onto a cart that rotates with the machine. Thus, it falls naturally with gravity (without pulling, rolling, or being strained). On average, it takes a whole day to knit enough fabric to make 10 to 15 t-shirts.

The benefits of loopwheel are: durability, flexibility, softness, and resistance to washing. In hand, even though the jersey is heavy (9oz), it is noticeably soft and somewhat flexible. The boxy cut is loose and comfortable. The strength of the collar is appreciated, being fairly wide with thick ribs and double-stitched. A detail found in vintage t-shirts is the single stitch on the sleeves and the bottom of the t-shirt.
