The TCB Seamens pants are a faithful reproduction of the Deck Pants initially worn by the U.S. Navy in the 1940s. These are probably one of the most iconic denim garments worn by the Navy during World War II. They are made from neppy selvedge denim, characterized by small white cotton neps that stand out against the fabric and contrast with the depth of the indigo mixed with an inner grey thread. This combination of indigo and grey adds an extra depth to the overall hue and suggests a patina full of contrasts and bluish shades.
With a light weight of 10oz, these four-pocket pants offer a very relaxed and comfortable straight fit, with a good width along the entire leg. Typical of pieces drawn from the USN (U.S. Navy) archives, the size is screen-printed above the right back pocket in the iconic Stencil font used by the U.S. military.
